Eugenes passing was so unexpected and his enthusiasm for life and art will be greatly missed. I saw him last year when we collected some pieces of work he still had left over from the gallery days. I first met Eugene and Lizzie in 1987 when I was fortunate enough to join the Kilvert Gallery. The support of them both throughout the gallery years and the participation in various art fairs was generous and extremely supportive for me and for many others. Many thanks Eugene for everything including the tea!
